We tend to demonize the moment when we hit 'our bottom'. It's painful; we finally see something we previously overlooked, and it feels uncomfortable. That's true, but there is another side to it - a powerful moment of transformation. For most of us, this is the moment when we say, 'Enough is enough' and we take action to change. Sometimes the catalyst is external, but sometimes it's an internal shift: 'Im going to do whatever it takes to make my life better!'. Very few moments in life carry such power.
So, in the spirit of learning, let's pause for a moment and reflect on the position that brought us to the bottom. Let's learn more about ourselves. Let's make a conscious decision to watch our boundries more closely, listen to the whisper of our intuition, and learn the language of our own bodies before they have to scream at us for not paying attention.
