I hear a lot of times about the fear associated with interviews. Low self-worth kicks and screams in this situation. Often, the strategy used in this situation is ‘Fake it till you make it’. Unfortunately, this strategy is very transparent to the keen eye and proves to be ineffective. I would like to remind everyone of a different perspective before this meeting.

Consider the interview just a social meeting where both parties find out stuff about each other. Let this phrase be with you ‘Are we good for each other?’. I hear a lot of ‘I’m not good enough for them, or the position…’ but are they good for you? Would you like to spend time with those people? Is there value in the business that this enterprise is offering (for you personally – is it in line with your values)? Would you care about this place? Always remember you have your say in the situation, after the meeting you can answer – ‘No, thank you….’

Take this attitude to the meeting and smash it…
